Minecraft Circle Generator

Plan a circle, build it row by row, and pick up where you left off.

Build from the blueprint

  1. Choose an outer diameter that fits the space you have.
  2. Follow the current row's separate column segments, leaving the gaps empty.
  3. Mark blocks or complete a row as you build. Return in the same browser to continue.

The circle building guide explains each step.

Choose a starting size

Measure your available space first, then choose a diameter. These sizes are starting points, not required dimensions.

Compare materials and centers in the circle chart.

Find the center

Diameter is the outer occupied width in blocks, not the radius. An odd diameter has a middle cell; an even diameter has a center between four cells.

15-block circle: mark the middle cell.
16 by 16 outline circle with center axes on grid lines
16-block circle: mark the intersection between four cells.

Outline or filled?

Use Outline to plan a border or the footprint of a wall. Use Filled to cover the entire area with blocks. Both modes use the same outer dimensions.

15 by 15 outline circle
Outline: 40 blocks for a border or wall footprint.
15 by 15 filled circle
Filled: 177 blocks for a complete floor.

Questions about circle blueprints

Is the number a diameter or a radius?

It is the diameter: the total occupied width from one outside edge to the other. Every square in this pixel circle represents one block.

Where is the center of an even circle?

At the intersection of the four middle cells. Keep the two center axes on grid lines rather than choosing one cell as the center.

Why can other generators show different block counts?

A block grid approximates a curve. This tool keeps inside cells with an outside neighbor above, below, left or right for Outline. A ring based on distance can choose a different boundary.

Can I use it in Java and Bedrock?

Yes, as a manual block placement reference in either edition. Read each square as one block; the tool does not import a build into your world.

What does the PNG contain?

A clean full blueprint with dimensions, mode and block count. Grid and center guides follow your settings. Completed marks and the selected row stay out of the image.

Where is my progress stored?

In site data in this browser, separately for each width, height and mode. It does not sync between devices, and clearing site data removes it.

Need a different width and height?

Use the oval generator to plan an elongated border with independently measured axes.
